Travel program
Day explained: A visit to this magnificent architectural marvel is the largest mosque in Morocco and a must-see for any tourist visiting Casablanca .Around 7:00 a.m., you will depart from your hotel or residence with our professional driver and head to Morocco's largest city.Although Morocco is a predominantly Muslim country, there are a few Christian churches in the country, particularly in Casablanca. One of Casablanca's most notable churches is the Church of the Sacred Heart. The Church of the Sacred Heart is located in downtown Casablanca, near the United Nations Square. The church was built in the early 20th century during the French colonial period. The church is still in use today and regularly hosts Catholic masses in French and Arabic. Visitors are welcome to attend services, but they are also free to visit the church outside of mass hours to admire its beautiful architecture and take photos.Visit the Hassan II Mosque, one of Casablanca's most iconic monuments and considered one of the largest mosques in the world. Its minaret is the tallest religious structure in the world, standing at 210 meters high. The mosque is open to non-Muslim visitors, but it is recommended to check visiting hours in advance. After visiting the mosque and at lunchtime, you can head to a local restaurant, as there are many restaurants in Casablanca serving traditional Moroccan cuisine. You can enjoy dishes such as tagine, couscous, and harira, all essential elements of Moroccan cuisine. Of course, after visiting all these places, you can stroll along the Corniche, a palm-lined boulevard that runs along the coast. The Corniche offers breathtaking views of the Atlantic Ocean and is lined with luxurious hotels, restaurants, and cafes. The Morocco Mall is the largest shopping center in Africa, so just ask your friend or group if you want to visit it, and the driver will take you there.Return to Marrakech: After a full day exploring Casablanca, you can return to Marrakech around 8:00 PM.Overall, a day trip from Marrakech to Casablanca is a great way to discover two of Morocco's most fascinating cities in a short time. However, keep in mind that Casablanca is a large city with many attractions, so it's impossible to see everything in one day.
